Introducing Brass Lending and more!

Our May Brokerage Meeting was met with a packed house of DOBI agents and staff. It’s always a great opportunity for everyone to connect, share insights, and discuss market trends in the industry. 

We kicked off the meeting with AJ Sgroi, CEO of our recently launched, in-house mortgage company Brass Lending. AJ drove home the idea that Brass carries the same tradition as DOBI of being a customer service forward business and that he and the loan officers are very much looking forward to earning everyone’s business for the remainder of 2023.

Our Broker, Simon Thomas capped the meeting off by announcing the rollout of our new agent training program. “When I got into this business, I had no clue how to do a purchase agreement”. Everyone has to start somewhere but oftentimes you’re left to your own devices, especially in Real Estate. “We need to give new agents the best opportunities. An environment where you’re inspired to succeed”. At DOBI we’ve been working diligently on rolling out a 12-week course that covers lead gen/conversion, title, relationship building, marketing and much more. Simon continued to address our agents in the room. “The difference between being good and great is a decision. Write down your goals. Visualize them. You will see more inventory due to the time of year but you’re still going to be working as hard as ever. These tough times will be a blink of an eye.”

Best in Class is given to the DOBI staff member representing our core values, peer-nominated by fellow agents and staff. This month our winner goes to Jojo Resnick! She’s been really stepping up into her Agent Success Manager position, and we couldn’t be prouder. Great job, Jojo!

Our Broker’s Choice award is nominated to the agent that has made a difference that month and caught our broker’s eye. The broker’s choice award goes to Brooke Azimi! She’s been killing it recently with 4 closed and 5 pending deals in the month of April.

Our Grit Award winner, given to the agent with the most units sold, goes to Scott Pulus. He closed a total of 5 units in April. Congratulations Scott!

Our Top Dog this month, for the individual with the highest sales volume goes to Natalie Vermeulen! Last month she did 2.3 Million in sales with a total of 2 units!

Our Top Dog winner for the group with the highest sales volume goes to The VS Group. They had a sales volume of over 2.4 Million with 4 units. Keep up the great work!
