How Rebecca Sokol grew her business 750% Secrets to success! December 7, 2020 By Liz Johnson Top producer, mother of triplets, realtor Rebecca Sokol, is a firm advocate for choosing a job that you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life. She began her real estate career in 2017 and hasn’t looked back. Flash forward to 2020, and she has increased her sales goal this year by 750% and landed the #2 spot in Realcomp in November. She also broke through to the Top 100 agents in Realcomp back in July. How does she do it, you ask? We recently sat down with Rebecca to learn more about how she manages her full-time career at DOBI and to get her take on her massive success. DOBI: Congratulations, Rebecca on hitting #2 in Realcomp! Earlier this year, we all have seen a tremendous pivot in the market due to COVID-19. Yet, the events of 2020 have not completely derailed your business, and in fact, you have experienced exponential growth. How did you do it? Rebecca: I started this year with sizable goals for myself and have exceeded them tenfold. For me, real estate doesn’t even feel like work. I genuinely love what I do. Working in real estate is a relationship-based business and I attribute a large portion of my business to my referrals. DOBI: When we first went into quarantine, our industry was completely shut down. How did you manage? Rebecca: During the first shutdown in March, it would have been easy to give up and feel the uncertainty in the business. But despite what was going on in the world, I was determined to push through. I see the value of staying in touch with my clients and worked harder than ever before to reach out to my current and past clients consistently. I wanted them to know how much I care and to see how they were doing. Trust me, it wasn’t easy to manage with my triplets at home remote learning! DOBI: As the year progressed and real estate became essential again in May, how did your strategy work for you? Rebecca: I began to see the true power of the relationships I have built with my clients and the referrals they gave to me. To be honest, it propelled my business forward more than I could imagine. But it isn’t only referrals. I am always chatting with others, building connections and I’m not afraid to go door knocking! Rebecca’s infectious personality, immense knowledge, and genuine love for the business has propelled her to this next-level success. She recently brought on an addition to her team, Kelly Klopocinski who is working with Rebecca while learning the business. DOBI: Tell us about your approach to customer service. What do you do differently? Rebecca: It is my goal that every client feels as if they are my only one. It is my goal to develop powerful, lasting, and meaningful relationships with my clients. I genuinely enjoy what I do and will do everything I can to ensure my clients have the best home buying experience.
