June Brokerage Award Winners Mindset is Everything July 7, 2022 By Welcome to July! We hope everyone enjoyed some time with family and friends over the holiday weekend. Today we had our monthly brokerage meeting, and we always love this time to come together. Jon Aucott, from Superior National Bank, shared 2 questions he’s been getting lately from his clients. First, what’s happening in the market? And second, what are agents doing for new business right now. It’s no surprise the market is shifting, and with that it’s turning out into a level market – not just a buyer or seller’s market. We’re seeing homes be priced more realistically, offers coming in underusing, no appraisal guarantees. So, it’s a positive shift in the market and interest rates, while higher, are historically low. Right now the rates are down one point from last week and sit at 5.25% for a fixed. For agents looking to grow their businesss right now, Jon shares it’s a great opportunity to touch base with your sphere. Call anyone you’ve shown a home to over the last couple of years and explain the market- restore their confidence. Let them know deals are getting done, and we can offer ARM products, that would help with the rise in rates. Simon delivered the motivational speech we all needed to hear today: “Mindset is Everything.” Relationships, mindset and energy are more important than ever before. It can be a very tiring and exhaustive business, especially when things are changing as much as they are. Our Big Wave winner is peer-nominated by agents and staff. This month the award was given to agent, Shelby Greaves. Shelby has been so extremely helpful to other agents throughout the month of June. She’s been helping with showings and open houses, learning a lot. We had an overwhelming number of nominations saying how amazing she is. Congratulations Shelby, keep it up! Best in Class is given to the DOBI staff member representing our core values, peer-nominated by fellow agents and staff. This month our winner goes to our Agent Success Coordinator, Jojo Sandercock. Jojo’s positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for our agents, has named her our winner this month. She just can’t say no, and we love that about her. Keep up the good work, Jojo! Our Broker’s Choice award is given to the agent who has gone above and beyond that month, nominated by our Broker Chris LeBlanc. The Nelson Team with Ryan Nelson and Debbie Nelson. If you didn’t know, Ryan had a baby last month, and this team was still able to close deals. They closed 5 units for $2 million- incredible! This month we have a three way tie for the Grit Award winner going to Mark Kattula, Tammy Jonna, and Ann Michael. All three had 5 units close last month. Our Top Dog winner for the individual agent with the highest sales volume goes to Daniel Naurato! Last month Daniel closed 4 units at just under $4 million. Daniel has been working super hard between our Birmingham office and Northville, and it shows. Congratulations, Daniel! Our Top Dog winner for the team with the highest sales volume goes to The Rahaim Group. This team goes above and beyond for their clients. Last month, they closed a massive 11 units at just over $11 million. I think it goes without saying, that is absolutely incredible and this team hustles hard. Great job, Rahaim Group!
