Metro Detroit Halloween Events From Trick-or-Treating to Themed Bar Crawls! Whether you’re looking for something more family friendly out in the country or getting your friends together for a fun night in costume downtown, here’s DOBI’s list of must attend events for Halloween weekend. TilLson St. Trick or Treating | Romeo October 31st Each year, Tillson street is decorated to the nines for Halloween! Check out the street from now leading up to Halloween, and on the night of, bring the kids out to do some trick or treating and experience the fun. Click here for more information. Norkus (Flikr) Downtown Spooktacular | Auburn Hills October 29 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Costumed kids 12 and under, come out for trick-or-treating fun at participating storefronts in downtown Auburn Hills! This event is hosted by Auburn Hills Recreation and is free to participate in. Check out the Facebook event and register for a time slot here. Trick or Treat Stroll & Monster Mash | Berkley October 29 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Enjoy two events in one day! From 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM enjoy trick or treating in downtown Berkley. Costumes are encouraged! From 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM participate in the Monster Mash Block Party. This party(for all ages!) will include a live DJ, Halloween crafts and activities, and tons of live performances. Halloween Parade at Sterling Heights Public Library | Sterling Heights October 25 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM Children 6th grade and younger are encouraged to come to the library dressed in costume for this fun event! Official Halloween Bar Crawl | Detroit October 22, 28, 29 Adults 21 and up, come out and enjoy the official downtown Detroit bar crawl!
